District 6 families were assured of responsible leadership. Instead, they got false promises, wasting your tax dollars, and decisions that benefit developers and insiders,
NOT RESIDENTS.

The current county commissioner has said one thing and done another, leaving communities frustrated, unheard, and paying the price.

Elizabeth Accomando is running to protect District 6 — because trust has been broken, and someone needs to step in and put residents first again. This election is about protecting District 6, not politics!

My Mission: Protect District 6, Our Families, and Our Way of Life

District 6 deserves a servant leader. Someone who exhibits service, stewardship and community impact.
I will protect our lifestyle, rescue our infrastructure and secure our future.

A Track Record You Can Trust

I’ve delivered tangible results for our community. Programs and projects that strengthen our neighborhoods. I will protect that which keeps District 6 special. I don’t govern by polls or political winds. I lead by serving.

Before I make any decision, I ask myself: Does it safeguard our families, our investments, and our way of life? That’s not a campaign promise. It’s my proven track record.

My commitment to District 6 rests on those three proven principles. You’ll see them in everything I do. They aren’t new promises; it’s how I serve.

Who is Elizabeth Accomando

Lifelong Community Advocate, Animal Welfare Leader, and proven Elected Official

A Leader Who Shows Up — and Follows Through

Elizabeth Accomando is a Palm Beach County leader, animal welfare advocate, and founder of Barky Pines Animal Rescue & Sanctuary. Since 2014, she has saved thousands of animals in partnership with the county, launched a low-cost veterinary clinic serving over 8,500 pets, and provided critical support to veterans, seniors, and under-served families.

She is a proven community leader with a record of:

  1. Delivering real infrastructure improvements
  2. Managing budgets responsibly
  3. Listening to residents and acting decisively
  4. Putting community needs above political convenience

As President of the Indian Trail Improvement District, Elizabeth didn’t make excuses, she produced results.

She understands something the current commissioner forgot:

Public office is a responsibility, not a reward. Elizabeth Accomando believes trust is earned, not demanded.

The Challenge

Broken Promises Have Cost Us Dearly

For too long, we have been promised one thing and given another. Over-development approved without adequate infrastructure. Tax dollars wasted on an entourage of sheriffs instead of roads, drainage, and public safety. Residents shut out of decisions that affect their neighborhoods. The current leadership has prioritized insiders over the people who live here.

Somewhere along the way, our representative stopped listening to us. Decisions are being made for you, not with you.

You’re allowed to expect better. District 6 deserves a seat at the table. I believe the people that live here should have a voice. This campaign is about standing up for ourselves. Saying, “We deserve better than this.”

Not louder politics, uglier campaigns, but better leadership.

My Solution

Proven Leadership with Clear Priorities

1. Smart Growth, Not Runaway Development
Every development must prove it won’t strain our roads, schools, and services.

2. Infrastructure Before Expansion
Fix what we have before approving what’s next. Prioritize road repairs, drainage improvements, and maintaining our quality of life.

3. Fiscal Discipline
Zero tolerance for wasteful spending. I’ve managed budgets at ITID and delivered projects on time. Your tax dollars will work harder.

4. Transparent Decision-Making
Residents deserve a voice before votes are cast. I’ll hold town halls, respond to concerns, and govern in the open.

Three Principles. One Commitment.

My approach hasn’t changed because these challenges aren’t new. I lead with community over politics, results over rhetoric, and protection over development.

We deserve a commissioner who serves residents, not special interests. That’s not a campaign slogan. It’s how I serve.

I’m Elizabeth Accomando and I’m asking for your vote to protect District 6.

Here's how you can help

#1. Petitions

To qualify to run for this seat, the cost is over $8,000 OR 1,500 petitions. I’m choosing the conservative way and collecting petitions vs. paying the “ballot tax”.

#2. Volunteer

We invite you to join Team Elizabeth. Volunteers are the heart and soul of any campaign. We would be honored to have you join us.

#3. Donate

The hardest part of any campaign is getting the message out and that costs money. We have to reach the majority of registered voters within the district.

Your contributions will help us Reach more neighbors

When volunteer time is scarce, donating any amount today goes a very long way. Every dollar donated will go towards reaching more District 6 voters.

We will need volunteers to collect petitions, go door-to-door, hang signs, host and plan events, text and call people, manage and share social media, and/or, most importantly, fundraising! Please make a contribution to Protect County Commission District 6.
