Richard Vassalotti Endorses Elizabeth Accomando for Palm Beach County Commission

LOXAHATCHEE, FL – The Elizabeth Accomando campaign is pleased to announce the endorsement from Richard Vassalotti, a member of the Indian Trail Improvement District, Seat 2 and former Palm Beach County Fire Rescue Captain:

“It is with great enthusiasm and absolute confidence that I endorse Elizabeth Accomando for the position of Palm Beach County Commissioner District 6.

I first met Elizabeth and her husband Steve back in 2018 when a flood threatened their home, their animal shelter and their livelihood. At the time, I was still serving the community with Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.

Since then, I have been elected into public service and have had the privilege of serving alongside Elizabeth on the board of the Indian Trail Improvement District where she currently serves as our President.

Elizabeth is not only an accomplished business owner but a passionate advocate for both people and animals. Her leadership is guided by compassion, fairness and a strong moral compass – qualities that are desperately needed in public office.

Elizabeth listens. She truly takes the time to hear what people are saying – residents, business owners and community advocates alike. She doesn’t dismiss concerns or play politics. She approaches every issue with an open mind, a kind heart and a strong sense of fairness. These are rare and valuable traits in public service.

Elizabeth remains calm, respectful and constructive, even when views differ. She’s not interested in power plays or personal agendas; she’s focused on service, solutions and bringing people together.

Elizabeth is the kind of leader Palm Beach County needs, someone that builds trust, not fear; someone that leads with character, not control; someone who understands the values and concerns of the western communities. Elizabeth appreciates that each community has its own identity, its own challenges and its own needs.

As we celebrate the 249th anniversary of our incredible nation, it’s important to reflect on the many leaders who have shaped our country, at every level of government. I truly believe Elizabeth will be one of those memorable local leaders and will have a positive impact on all of our communities.
